“The Dixie Directory: A Survival Guide”
was created as a
Girl Scout Gold Award
Service Project by Michelle Faulconer.
The Girl Scout Gold
Award is the highest
honour a Girl Scout can earn in her journey to womanhood.
The Gold Award is prestigious,
and demands over 50 hours of individual work
in
order to be obtained. “The Dixie Directory”
was designed to be a creative
reference guide
for the residents and visitors of New Lebanon,
Ohio. The main
purpose of the survival guide
is to provide accurate and helpful information
for
the citizens and new members of the
community.
New Lebanon, a caring a sharing
community,
welcomes you into its embrace as you begin to
learn of its sights and
features.

The Dixie Directory is my service to you, the New Lebanon
Community. I serve you in love and liberty. Thank you for allowing me to provide
this publication for the past, present, and future visitors and residents of our
quaint village.
